Overview
Singing Development Day with Jack Apperley
We welcome back Jack Apperley to lead another Singing Development Day for us as part of preparing for our performance with Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra of Orff’s powerful profane mass, Carmina Burana and the contrastingly tender Spirituals from Tippett’s A Child of Our Time. We warmly invite all singers to join us for what promises to be another hugely entertaining and informative day.
Whilst Carmina Burana and the Tippett Spirituals will be the vehicle for this event, improving voice production and ensemble singing will be the aim of the day as much as improving understanding of the work.
Jack Apperley
Jack is an energetic and fun-loving freelance conductor and we promise you a lively and enjoyable day.

He has been engaged by some of the best choirs in Europe including le Choeur de Radio France, Gothenburg Symphony Chorus and Vocal Ensemble, and the Hungarian National Choir.
